  The receptionists are friendly and the dentists try to make it as painless as possible. They really do try. There is a city parking lot ($2) and they do validate for it.
  
  The main thing I don't like is that they are not very good about telling you how much it will cost. I had to pay extra beyond what my medical coverage paid and I was confused about what they said how much it would be. I suggest getting something in writing saying how much it will cost. It will probably take them a long time to do that but it is worth doing so that when you pay you don't have to wonder if that is what they told you. My brother had is tooth pulled and they seemed to have said one thing about how much the additional cleaning would be and then charge something different. So get it in writing; automobile repair shops are required to do that and the same should apply to our teeth.
