  I would like to share my thoughts on Stevenson Middle School. I have had direct contact with other middle and high schools throughout the district. In all the years I have been a part of or been actively in contact with these learning institutions, Stevenson has been a breath of fresh air. From grassy spaces-amphitheater-lots of shade trees-cool & pleasant buildings all situated in the ever so popular Boyle Heights/East Los Angeles community. Many schools preach and advertise to their community that they are the best at what they do. Well, I have found that when you walk onto a campus ,tour the facility, and interact with the staff and students, you will feel the true energy and spirit of what the school is about. The pride and dedication of staff is quite noticeable. From the cafeteria workers, security, custodial staff, office clerks, administrators and teachers - Stevenson is a cut above. My experience being over twenty years in and around these type of schools, has made this review really simple. Perfect schools are rare, passionate and prideful schools are even tougher to find. I do believe the energy I feel and see at Stevenson is genuine and sincere. This has been missing in my life, until Now! Come be a pirate, and sail to New heights!!! Hope to see you soon.
