  Today Feb 11 2018 about 6pm Pacific Time, we went grocery shopping and stop by at Rite Aid at 1841 Western Ave, LA, CA 90027 since we Member since ages and been shopping at anywhere Rite Aid for ages for beverages and beer and all other household need.
  
  Since we live couple blocks away, my 60yrs old husband came just carry cash on his pocket. He walk in him self to get the 12 pack Heineken for home. Waited in line and came out from store empty handed said the employee rudely refused to sell as no ID (while he doesn’t seems look like between 18-25 yo obviously)!
  
  So in the car as I waited with the children, I said I will get it then and that should be end of my groceries day. So I went in and walk in straight to young man cashier and mention that my husband had a hold on drink but he forgot his Id at home, so I like to purchase. Out of my surprise the asian Philipino acent lady what my husband was mention same rude employee cut over transaction from other machine between me and the young gentleman said that “oh we can not have you buying for him, he need to show his ID” - I still trying to be calm explained that we live in same house hold and I drink beer too so it does for me too and I like to pay for it. She answer rudely “No no no, you want to buy because he don’t have ID and you pay for him”. This time she did made me upset so I ask what if I just walk all the way back and grab my own drink and pay, I have ID and cash what reason she refused me to purchase? So I did. Waited in the line, when the kids crying waiting so long over packs of beer, I want my rights!
  
  Once its my turn, I saw the rude lady employment talks to the manager name Darell the whole story to stand for her. And with the same bs explanation he said I can not purchase my drink when I have everything he need.
  
  My point is:
  By law the store has right to ask ID, IF THEY LOOK LIKE BELOW 18-25 yrs old! I dont think my 60 yo husband (who dont perform plastic surgery and use botox) does look like any of that age!!
  
  If I don’t honestly come by to the cashier just to save anyone time and hassle, and just walk like anyone to the fridge and get another packs of heineken, what’s their nosy rude to refuse my rights to purchase when I have proper ID and cash.
  
  I had never had a bad experience with anywhere Rite Aid before instead can detail give compliment to many store we had bussiness with in the past. This had been the WORST store, with the worst and rude employment and manager store ever.
  
  I think they should really know whos their customers and understand the rules and regulations of selling alcohol and customers rights.
  
  Im highly disappointed and with all the respect of what their belive and bs to refused selling their merchandise, this is a fully wrong and disrespectful towards your loyal customers. I would hate to to walk to this store and spend hundreds of dollars again but I guess I will keep rubbing their nose and soon I will come by and by the same beer and YES I BOUGHT FOR MY 60yo HUSBAND WHO FORGOT HIS ID AT OUR 2 block AWAY FROM STORE! This employee arr so more than annoying as hell!
