  I'll start off by pointing out that the accommodations were beautiful but, unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. I called the front desk to let them know I'd be checking in a little late and (after a long stretch of dead air) the first four words out of the receptionists mouth were "yeah." No greeting, no name, it felt like I was pulling teeth. He pretty much had me guide him through his work.
  Once we arrived at the hotel, we had issues with the climate controls in the room. The thermostat couldn't be set below 68 degrees and the room temperature wouldn't drop below 70. We called down and were told there was nothing that could be done. Heck, I asked if they could bring up a fan or something and was again told they didn't have a way to help. We ended up checking out one night early and paying for a room elsewhere. Full disclosure, they did comp the night but we would have preferred to get a little better service and enjoy the room and amenities as planned.
