  I had a good experience 2 years ago and thought I'd come back. There was no one inside the shop, just a creepy guy standing out front clipping his nails. He approached me and asked if I needed a smog check. I said yes and ask if he worked there. He said, "something like that" and told me to come inside and he will call a specialist. I got the F out of there.

  It's a smog station, what could I possibly have to say about it?
  
  This place is like my boyfriends in high school: fast, cheap, and easy. And much like in high school, I like it that way. Bonus points for close to home and good tacos. Am I talking boyfriends or smog checks you ask? Both!
  
  In all seriousness, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes with no appointment. I got my paper copy and my results sent to DMV. This means I don't have to wait in that god-awful DMV line. Yay!
  
  Tech was super-friendly and even held my drink for me so I could rummage through my mom-purse to pay.
  
  I'll be back in a few years. You know, when the DMV makes me go. At least I'll know it's a pleasant experience.
