I took a Pottery Barn Duvet cover in to be dry cleaned and pointed out the 3 small chocolate stains to be removed. When we got it back it looked like nothing had been done. I took it to the owner who put yellow and red tape on the stains and said they would get it out. We got it back and when we unwrapped it, the tape was still on and the stains were still there and it looked faded! I went to speak to him today. He was rude and told me that stain removal was not part of the $30 price. I said I paid $30 to have this dry cleaned and you don't include stain removal? He said-'This was not dry cleaned-it doesn't need to be dry cleaned.' I couldn't believe what he said. I asked for a refund and continued to be rude, defensive and abrasive. He charged $30 to wash an expensive duvet 2 times and faded the colors!
We also had two incidents with my husbands shirts. The owner said his shirt would be ready and that they would be open the night before he needed it. He drove over-they were closed and he had to buy another shirt.
We will never ever go back!

** STAY AWAY ** STAY AWAY ** STAY AWAY **

I work in an office near by and a lot of us have taken our clothes this dry cleaners mostly because of the convenience of them being so close. BIG MISTAKE!! One by one stories are popping up around here about bad experiences. We're talking about clothes missing, broken buttons, burn marks, not getting clothes back when promised (24hour service? Good luck!), and more.

I went there to drop off clothes for my girlfriend. I dropped off 7 items and only ended up getting 6 back. What happened to the other one is anyone's guess. When I came in to pick up my stuff on the day they were promised and only half was ready. They told me the others had not yet returned from the cleaning facility, and to try back tomorrow. The next day I returned to pick up the rest, they said still not back, and once again to try back the next day. Luckily by the next day more stuff had returned (still missing one) so I picked them up. By this time they really didn't know what to say about the missing item. Every few days I returned to get my missing clothes. I sat around on each visit while they checked all the racks, and tried to come up with a reason why it still might be missing or delayed from the facility. After about a month I gave up and chalked it up as a loss.

I have other stories from coworkers to tell, but I want to mention just one more person's experience. My friend brought in 5 shirts to be dry cleaned. 2 made it out OK. His Experience: He paid extra to get his clothes back faster, and like me his items were not ready when promised. He was told to try back later in the day because the delivery hadn't come in yet. My friend went back in towards the end of the day and did get some of his shirts, but one was still missing. They gave him the same song and dance that I had been given about how it must be a "more delicate item" requiring more time, try back tomorrow. The next day he went in but his shirt was still missing. The guy checked the rack and a few different areas with no luck. He finally reviewed the ticket with another employee and determined that they were on a priority rack. He then had the nerve to ask my friend why he didn't say his shirt was on fast delivery and should be on the fast rack!! My friend DID give him this news the first time he went in to pick up his shirts. And doesn't the ticket indicate this little fact as well? My friend was pretty upset by this time. They reduced the cost, he paid and left. Now these were fairly new shirts. He took them home without much thought and hung them up in his closet and didn't look at them until a few weeks later when he wanted to wear them. One shirt had a broken button, one shirt had a burn mark, and another shirt ended up splitting down the sleeves on a night out (both sleeves: first one then the other later in the night) the very next time he wore it. We can only guess that it was from some harsh chemicals used to dry clean the shirt that made the fabric brittle or thin.

Bottom line: Go at your own risk!! This place has become a topic of many discussions in our office. It's almost fun to hear how many people have had bad experiences with this dry cleaners and what they have to say.

On the positive side: Sometimes you can play golf with a little putting green they have, and you will be welcomed by a really cute puppy. Pee stains not included.
