  Loved this place. Know what you're getting into, though - this is a hip ass hotel repurposed from the old United Artists theater in downtown LA. Rooms are smaller, with concrete floors and pegboard walls. But they have turntables or guitars, and you can borrow extra music equipment if inspiration strikes. The small lobby restaurant has a great burger and some serious appetizers (try the carrots). Had a great time here. Staff was excellent. I will definitely be back.
