    This is a great place to work out and the instructors are very energetic you start with treadmill then do the boxing and end with stretching really great place

    What are you insane or something?

    Coming to Pulse is like signing up for a hike, no scratch that a RUN up a sand dune in the Sahara Desert with nothing but some water and your boom box bumping your best Pandora workout mix. In short these classes aren't for the casual fitness junkie. Noooo buddy you must be someone glutton for punishment.

    Perks:
    Online Booking- All class schedules are posted online and can be booked online. It's simple, it's awesome. When you come in they give you a little keychain pass that allows for an even faster sign-in. I mean it's just convenient
    Parking- Ample and free underground parking. They even have a car wash service that will beautifully clean your mobile for only $20. They are super-fast and efficient.
    Facility- There's one room for cycling and another for the circuit classes which includes a treadmills and weights. They have lockers located in each of the workout rooms. There's also a unisex restroom. Side note - the restroom is stocked with feminine hygiene products so no excuses on why you can't finish your torture, I mean workout.

    The Workouts-
    I've been to three different classes

    Below the Belt- "Targets butt and legs. No secrets here. It's butt. It's legs. It hurts so good!" Possibly one of the dynamic classes they have. It's about 15-20 mins of treadmill work and that includes running and uphill work. And then there's floor work which usually consist of heavy to medium weights with squats and lunges and other forms of leg work. It's certainly great for cardio and toning. Larry is insane. He's the sweetest but at times you will think he's trying to murder you.

    Upper Body with Abs- "Give your legs a break. Work those arms, tone those shoulders, strengthen your back, and firm your chest. Oh yeah...BIG abs day !!" Just a crazy as below the belt and very similar to its structure but instead of leg work its abs and upper body. Again Larry will push you beyond limits but you will feel amazing after.

    Box and Tone - "TREADMILL, FREEEWEIGHTS, BANDS and BOXING. It all happens in 1 hour with So Cal's Number 1 Black Belt Family, The Marshall's." The treadmill work is mostly go-at-your-own-pace. But the boxing is the butt kicker. Your WHOLE body will be sore. But its super fun and the Marshall's are super supportive and knowledgeable. The workout is a great stress reliever and is easy pick up. They do have gloves you can borrow but I suggest bringing your own.

    Overall AMAZING place to work out. The staff members are friendly and personable. The facility is always clean tidy. It's a great atmosphere but it's challenging. CERTAINLY not for someone looking for a casual workout but if you love a challenge this place is for you! Also its ALWAYS super-hot in there with the dance lights so if you are rocking a fresh press you may want to think twice before going in. You will sweat gallons, puddles so beware.
