  This is a year late but I just recommended Oscar's to a friend and figured that I should leave a review. Last year I was searching for a wedding ring and found a few places in Downtown LA. Although there are other great places (be sure to do your research because there are also several terrible places) I met Oscar and he was just great! He asked what I needed, showed me what he had, and that was that. No pressure, honest information, and absolutely friendly. I left, walked around Downtown for a couple hours, and came back because Oscar's product and price were the best in my opinion.
  
  About a month later I wanted to purchase a wedding day gift for my bride. I went everywhere searching for a perfect gift and decided to come back to Oscar's look around. I told him that I wanted to get her a gift and again, he was excellent. He was honest about jewelry, he asked for my budget, and then he located these wonderful diamond earrings. I know my wife loved them because she wore them every single day!
  
  Like I said, there are a few excellent places to purchase jewelry in Downtown LA but Oscar's was top notch. Even if you go into other shops, and least pay Oscar a visit. You will not be disappointed. Great gentleman and great business. 5 stars
