  The absolute worst pharmacy I've ever had the misfortune to visit. I went in there with an antibiotic prescription from my doctor. I was going out of the country for two months, and he'd written me a prescription for 21 days of antibiotics. I went to the CVS pharmacy, handed them the prescription, the woman ran it, then handed it back to me, and said "Your insurance will only cover 3 days." I asked, "Do you mean 3 days in total, or a prescription for 3 days?" She said, "They'll only cover 3 days." I reworded my question because I thought maybe it had been confusing, and asked, "So, they'll only cover like 3 days worth of pills period, or do I need to go get 7 different prescriptions for 3 days of antibiotics?" She copped an attitude and said, "They'll only cover 3 days." I asked, "What does that mean? Does that mean they're only ever going to pay for 3 days' worth of pills, or does that mean that I need to get separate prescriptions for every 3 days?" She said, again with the attitude, "They'll only cover 3 days." It took all the moral strength I had to keep from leaping over the counter and slamming that dense beast's head into the counter.
  
  I left and went down the street to Walgreens. The pharmacist there told me about 5 minutes after I handed her the prescription: "Your insurance company will only cover 3 days without an authorization. I need to call them and get one." She called them. They authorized it.
  
  Afterwards, I called my insurance company and related the incident to them. I didn't mention I had gone to CVS, but when I'd finished the woman asked, "Did you go to CVS?" I told her yes, and she told me to never go to CVS to get a prescription filled because their pharmacies have some sort of standing order not to call for authorizations.
